Framing Consult
ORIGINAL PASTEL FRAMING CONSULTATION:
For an affordable consultation fee, you can rest assured that your original pastel will display beautifully and impactfully. The consultation fee includes two visits with a local professional framing studio of the artist’s choice.
Actual frame, mat, protective surface, or other framing costs, including extra consultation time beyond the scope of what is usual, are the responsibility of the buyer.
NOTE: To maintain both tone and vibrancy of the finished work, the artist does not use fixative on the final layer of pastel, and so it needs to be framed behind glass. There are several options available to achieve this end, which a framer who handles a lot of pastels can walk you through. This consultation is to save you both time and mileage.
